LPGA golfer Erica Blasberg died

LPGA spokesman David Higdon called Blasberg’s death a “tough hit” for women’s golf. “She was a very popular player and well-liked and we’re going to miss her,” Higdon said. “This is a very close-knit group of players and tour and we’re saddened by what happened.” LPGA golfer Erica Blasberg died Sunday in a Las Vegas suburb according to police and her agent.

LPGA player Meg Mallon said the news will “hit hard” for tour participants.

“I’m just very sad and just really kind of sick to my stomach that a life ended so young,” Mallon said. “People in Mexico passed her by or hit balls next to her on the range and everyone’s having their own moments right now,” she said.

Beau is undergoing treatment at a Delaware hospital

Dr. Jill Biden was scheduled to tour a women’s health facility in Washington Tuesday afternoon. Event organizers said her appearance has been postponed. Beau Biden was scheduled to deliver a speech Tuesday night entitled, “My Life in Public Service,” at University of Delaware, but that was canceled too.

Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden was admitted to Christiana Hospital on Tuesday morning, his spokesman said. He was awake, alert and communicating with his doctors, parents and wife.

Clay Aiken is making a musical comeback with a new album, and ET has all the info on his fifth studio album, Tried and True! Clay chose the title Tried and True because the album will be filled with timeless classics.

“There are a lot of elements to this album that are about me returning to what I’m comfortable with,” he says. “To me, older songs are more melodically appealing and beautiful. So doing this album was an opportunity to just be myself.”
